So. My first parent-less holiday was amazing. Only word for it! My best friend Laura and I headed off to Can Picafort in Majorca Spain for a week from 23/06 - 30/06. We stayed in an all-inclusive hotel, and so we had all drinks, snacks and meals free whenever we wanted. The airport was the scariest thing, because we had to check in and make sure we went through security and board the plane all by ourselves! Seeing as my Mum makes sure this is done efficiently I was worried that I wouldn't be able to manage it, but we did!
The plane going was smooth and easy, and seemed to pass really quickly. In complete contrast, the plane coming back took forever and we had bad turbulence as we flew through the black clouds :
When we were there we sunbathed in the day, ate Lays (the Spanish equivalent of Walkers crisps) and read many many books. The days were really placid and relaxing. If we were bored, we went for walks and took hundreds of photos by the beach or along the rows and rows of copycat souvenir shops. Seriously, they all look the same and sell the same thing. Thing is though, it is imperative that you go in ALL the shops, just to see if they sell something slightly different. I don't know what it is, but you just get drawn in!
Evenings were great. After dinner at 7pm we headed upstairs, showered and got ready for the evening entertainment. After that finished, we sat at the bar and drank the free house wine which was on tap (!!!) and the many spirits available. Once the bar had closed we usually headed into town to a bar called Barracuda and then onto SKAU.
The holiday was amazing, and I loved every second! The only problem? I DIDN'T TAN!
Here's some photo's of the trip. I cut down from 150 to the 13 below. If you have me on Facebook, the whole set is on there :)

Long time no speak :)
So! Last post was 19th Jan, just after my January exams. I've now taken my final A Level exams and been on holiday to Majorca without parents! I now have a long summer ahead of me, and I'm so so excited.
I'll post pictures in a sec :)

Final Uni News :)
Firm: Royal Holloway University
Secure: Surrey University
Yay! My life is sorted. It feels really good to have my choices in order.
If I happen to achieve my predicted grades of AAB, which at this moment seems very very veryyyy unlikely, then off I'll trot to London.
If I don't, then I'll be off on my merry way to Surrey with my BBB!
So exciting :)

Now I'm revising for two exams which are on Wednesday. I have Psychology in the morning, and History in the afternoon. SO UNLUCKY!
I am at this second typing this, whilst eating pasta and watching Diagnosis Murder, having taken the day off school to revise. I have been since 8.30am this morning, and I'm so bored of it. I haven't even made much progress. Argh! What to do...
Ridiculous Drama Coursework took up my whole weekend. I had 20 pages of a 'stuctured record' to complete, and I finally did last night. The killer is though, that each single page was only worth ONE MARK! How stupid is that. Grr.
Anywho. Back to Mussolini and the Acerbo Law, and then in a bit, the Arousal-Cost-Reward-Model of Altruistic Behaviour :
Year 13 is the biggest drag evahhh.

Polyvore.
University!
Oki doke, back in October I happily applied to five Universities.
1. Royal Holloway University of London AAB
2. Surrey University BBB
3. Kent University AAB
4. Warwick University ABB
5. Winchester University BBC
I got replies from all of them, saying they had acknowledged my application.
Then I got interviews from all!
I then had to go to auditions, and I went to Winchester first, which was basically dancing. They offered me a place 6 days after the auditions.
Then I went to Royal Holloway which is my top choice. That was such a hard audition because I had to sit in a room with 6 other candidates, and explain the dramatic importance of a Natwest bank advert, which was so utterly weird. I was quite vocal though and spoke up a few times, mostly when nobody esle said anything, which I think worked in my favour. Anyway, they offered me a place 6 days after the interview too :D When I found out I ran around my house screaming, haha.
My next scehduled interview was Surrey. Thrn, a few weeks ago I got an email from the admissions man saying that they loved my application, and that on second thoughts they were just going to give me a place! Woo! I was so gobsmacked.
I have 2 auditons left now, for Kent and Warwick, but I don't think I'm going to go to either.
My Uni choices list is finally;
1. Royal Holloway
2. Surrey.
I have to be a total hermit for 2009, and not socialise because I have to get AAB now.
Wahey. The life of an A Level student is so fun!

Blogger is playing up!
Silly blogger. For some reason it's aborting the opening of the webpage. Argh. So annoying. I've deleted a post which seemed to aggrivate my internet, so maybe it'll work now! Who knows.
Anywho.
Happy New Year to everybody!
New years resolutions?

Happy New Year to everybody!
New years resolutions?
Mine;
- Lose half a stone! I need to be back to my nice 8st 10lbs which I worked so hard to be back when I was 15. Considering I used to be 10 and half stone, that was quite an achievement pour moi to lose over 20lbs. It'd be a shame to let all the yummy chocolate and biscuits ruin that!
- Stop spending my wages!! I have now realised that this year I need spending money for my theatre Trip to Italy and also my holiday to Majorca which I just booked eeee! I have decided to save £50 a month, and I get paid £160 a month. Shouldn't be hard to save £50, but it sure as heck is hard when January sales are on and you so desperately need new things which you never realised you needed! Such as 11cm heeled boots, or a bright blue cardigan... :)
- Study harder. I need to be a complete boffin this year.
